More properly might be: "At what are you driving?"-- I surmise there is some "mystery coupled with panache" about Lou Galazan-- so many guns, so many business deals, and the natural tendency of man is to always question the "King of the Hill"-

I have purchased gun parts (machine screws, pads) also used take-off stocks and a few other gun cleaning supplies from Galazans, and my purchases amount to a proverbial 'drop in the bucket" to their annual sales- yet I have always been treated and made to feel like a valued customer. If I ever won the Publisher's Million $ Sweepstakes, I would have to flip a coin and decide whether to take a big chunk of that (after taxes) to either Puglisi's or Galazan's- and be like the "kid in the candy store" all over--The stuff of which dreams are made, indeed!!!

I met him years ago at a CADA show in Illinois when he was starting the Fox operation. He had an exhibition grade for sale for 15 grand if remember correctly. Seemed like a very "with it" kind of guy.

I don't want to hijack, but good to hear a shout out for the store in my old neck of the woods. Ironic, I was just mentioning this place to someon else on these boards.

I dunno, but Lou is and has always been the gentleman's gentleman in my dealings with him for a number of years now. BTW, his last name is not Galazan. I've hoped he will do some hunting with me up in the panhandle as he has expressed the interest, but his hectic winter show schedule has not been very accommodating in that manner so far. I expect he will get around toit. He is a really hard working guy and I have always found him to be both stand up and likeable and a zero BS kinda person. I like that. If I were still working, he is the kinda guy I'd like to hire & have on my team. I think he does admirable work for Galazan's. I expect he will be in Tulsa this coming weekend. If you are attending, take the time to meet him, he is one of the good guys. I'm sure he would be happy to give you his background & how he became involved. My first experience w/him was on the phone and he was a gentleman then and has remained so after we became acquainted on a personal basis. Whot's more to say?

Lou's last name is Frutuoso. He's a gentleman. I'm pretty shallow in the pocket area and have only purchased some small odds and ends from CSMC until recently when Lou gave me a deal I couldn't refuse on an RBL. He always treats me well, like I'm a valued customer ( and I'd have a hard time paying the sales tax on some of the purchases made there). He always makes me feel welcome and treats me like I'm dropping six figures instead of the six dollars I actually do.

BTW. Galazan's first name is Tony(Anthony).

When talking to him at times you can tell he is a very busy guy. I am sure he gets calls all the time. Lou is the go to guy at CSMC. If you need something or need to find out about something going on there he is the guy who knows and how to get it done.
He worked with me on a Model 21 project and beleive me I called him often with ideas and changes. He was always willing to help and made you feel important.
He's one of those guys you need to get to know.
