The rolling block shotguns made in Ilion by E. Remington & Sons were made on both military rifle frames (top tang as long as the lower tang) and sporting rifle frames (shorter top tang). They were chambered for paper 20-gauge shells or the 16B brass shells.

Most of the fancy rolling block shotguns were made by the various licensed foreign rolling-block manufacturers. I have only ever seen one fancy one that was pure Ilion.

Husqvarna offered them for decades in a number of gauges. Here from a 1927 catalog showing 12- to 28-gauge offerings --
