I have thinwall chokes in one of my guns. They are a very thin choke, but have worked as intended. I think they work best in application where a regular thickness choke won't.
I'd have no reservation on using them in my hunting guns.


I've shot Briley thin-wall chokes since the early or mid 90s. Ducks, geese, turkeys, pheasants, quail, and more. Lead, steel, bismuth, it all works great. They have worked exactly as advertised and show no signs of doing anything else.
