After using shooting gloves for quite some time now, I've settled on Grip Swell SxS specific gloves.They are padded in all the right places for use with SxS guns and have worked very well for me.

Those are cool but if you need protection from the barrel a glove is much easier on the blueing!

My favorite shotgun for Trap Shooting or Sporting Clays is a 12 ga. hammer gun that I adapted a beavertail for-end to fit it. Especially for Trap Shooting.

OK. Would someone explain to me just why anyone would want these things on their guns. What good are they? Does anyone grip their gun in front of the wood forend? If so, Why????
