CherryBomb may well have seen 3 loose NID's... we've all seen loose guns of every make. Even $50,000 Hollands and Purdeys can be shot loose, but that doesn't mean "they suck or what". Now if those guns shot loose with 8000 psi loads and proper care, maybe we can conclude they are of poor design, workmanship, and materials. However, the vast majority of NID's and many others do exactly what they were made to do for many decades, and remain tight and quite functional. Put a jet engine in a bi-plane and you may have problems. Do NASCAR engines suck because they need rebuilt after one or two 500 mile races? Geez, my '93 Ford truck had 250,000 mi. on it and was still running strong when I sold it. Should I have offered it to Hendricks Motor Sports as a better vehicle to run in the Daytona 500?
