I just bought an inexpensive 20 ga Flues. The top leaver screw is a bit buggered - which is bugging me. Numrich lists one for sale but there is no gauge designated. Are they all the same size or scaled?

Thanks

Anybody have a handle on the Flues top levers? My 1915-vintage No. 1 Special 28-gauge has a toplever and spindle forged in one piece, no screw. I have noticed some Flues have a screw in the top lever, but never took the time to study whether they were early or late, or what gauges. Unfortunately the only picture I have of my Flues in Photobucket doesn't show the top lever --

Also, the 28-gauge Flues models I've handled only have the single bite in the rib extension, not the two bites of the larger gauge Flues.

i have 2 Flues, #250571 (1914)16 ga and #371005 (1923) a 20, both have the 1 piece top lever. I would guess that the later guns have the 1 piece lever.
