The ad copy from the 30s says what it says: "If an owner, after using a Browning Twin-Single Trigger, develops an exclusive preference for either trigger, the extra trigger may be removed and the slot filled with a blank'." [p. 51, The Browning Superposed] Perhaps copy writing is a law unto itself; space to fill w/ features, gimmicks, bullet pts. I agree with Pipes that it makes for a fast selection of first barrel choke.
I didn't shoot well with it at skeet this morning although things improved in the weeds out of bounds. Did alright w/ m12 shooting international mount, delay, doubles all stations. So many guns; so much "dirt", so little lead!
