I did much the same for skeet with a 30s $&$ 26" which weighed 6.5lb because it kicked like a light 16 with 1 oz. so 7/8 was a bit more pleasant to shoot if not quite as effective. I guess the 1925 SAAMI level of proof and service pressure applies to all the Supers. Bit fuzzy on this sometimes; thanks for confirming. I also would prefer not to move back to 1150fps; I need to get another jug of 12 ga. powder. I always end up with the cheap stuff like Promo or N-100. From the charge wgt., Clays sounds economical.
