The Superposed was introduced after SAAMI specs were in force, so should be capable of handling any 2 3/4 inch shell out there (not steel).
For high-volume shooting at clay targets I shoot 7/8 ounce loads in most of my old 12-gauge guns, just to be easy on them and me. I load the Remington STS hull with a Remington 209P primer, the Remington TGT12S wad and Clays powder. Working from memory here, I think the load is 16.4 grains. It is in their book in the 1200 fps colume and gives 6300 psi. My mental state is such that I don't like overly fast or slow loads. My mind likes 1200 fps and everything I load is to that velocity.
P.S. As I've posted many times before, no one can tell someone over the internet what load is or isn't "safe" in a particular gun. Only a really "qualified" (and IMHO there aren't that many) gunsmith, with the gun-in-hand can do that.
