I bought a Purdey hammergun from an English auction house last year that had the forearm metal that butts up against the front of the action cracked completly through horizontially. This wasn't mentioned in the auction and when I asked them about it they said that it was mine and that they couldn't mention everything. Anyway, Keith Kearcher did a bang up job of welding it so that you couldn't tell it was broken in the first place. He charged me 1/20th what I was quoted in England.
