Back in about 1977 I bought a Holland and Holland 12 Bore double rifle for a 4 1/4" case shooting 10 drams of powder as indicated on the side of the rifle and also on the charge card in the case. It was in its original case with bullet mold in almost new condition and nearly unfired. I found out from Hollands that it was an experemntal rifle made for the Nawab of Bhopal. If I remember right, there was a single 12 bore made for the 4 1/4" case too. I paid a lot of money for it at the time and owned it for about 3 months, then needed money so I traded it for a Purdey single shot .450 and cash. I wonder what it would be worth now!
