IMO, the nicest modern scaled .410 is the 20+year old Winchester Model 23 Classic Baby Frame .410. Not with double triggers but one hell of a nice gun.

Here's a Huglu with 30 inch barrels.

Chuck Lutz is easy to deal with. He told me the single trigger issues he has dealt with, were all O/U. No double trigger sxs issues. He also gives a 3 yr. warranty on top of the 2 yr. warranty from Huglu.

I don't think you will find a better priced gun than the Huglu. I like the looks of the 26" barrel with the splinter forend. I wonder if there are any of those Kassner Churchill Windsors for sale? I have one in 410 but I can't part with it. It cost $950 when I bought it and it doesn't look so much like a "modern" gun. Has a straight stock, semi-bt, checkered butt, double triggers and extractors. It would be perfect.

yeah, I found a Crescent Arms .410 in San Antonio a while back. They wanted $1200 for it and it would have taken maybe twice that to get it in decent shape, including a new stock (broken at the wrist, lousy repair). Barrels needed redoing and bluing, was off-face, etc, etc. Shame really.

I bought a 410 L.C. Smith a while back for $1300. A friend of mine in Mobile put a straight griped French walnut stock on it for another $400. I will never have another sidelock L.C. Smith but it certainly makes a fine rabbit gun and works well on doves if I do my part. Of course there was that pristine 410 Smith with ejectors that went for $3300 at an Estate auction in Greenwood, Ms. a few years ago (10?). I was sitting next to the gentleman that ownes Dixie Gun works and when he quit bidding I figured I should too. Another regret, live and learn.
