The best score I've ever posted in sporting clays was with my Beretta Cole Custom O/U in 12 gauge with a 7/8 ounce load.

The gun I've shot with the most rounds above 40 in sporting clays is without question my Westley Richards in 12 gauge with a 7/8 ounce load. I've had more good rounds at sporting clays with this gun than any other.

At skeet it's a tie between my Poli Upland Extra in 20 gauge and my Remington 11-87 in 12 gauge.

Model 21 - 12ga. two barrel set. 30" M/F; 28" Sk1/Sk2. Stock dimensions fit me perfectly. Meets all my shotgun needs.

Well, if the question really is which gun one (me) shoots best, with no consideration to our beloved classic doubles, it is hands down a Perazzi. I own more than a few. I have about 3 or 4 that I have stocked and fiddled with until they feel like they are part of me. For serious shooting they shine.

Now, if the question is which gun I shoot best when hunting, I have a Fox SW 20 with 26" barrels and M/F chokes I got about a year and a half ago. And, man oh man do I shoot it good. And it is a dream to carry all day long.

The gun I shoot best is my Ljutic trap gun. It fits me perfectly and I shoot pretty good with it. Sometimes I wish I could take it hunting with me. The gun I used for years for hunting squirrel, rabbits and birds was my Model 37 Ithaca. I bought it right out of high school in the middles 60s and I always shot that pretty good before I retired it. Now I hunt with a Model 21.

I just adore the the old girl, & am especially fond of the hands on lock up procedure....i love the last 1/4 turn as it all comes together and you can feel the screw engage the bites & really clamp those bbls down ...ahhhh, heaven.
i don't really hunt, but do clays & 5 Stand.It seems to take me about 5 seconds useing my Belgian SLE to eject, load & get ready..
But the old cranck action goes 10+...more if you want to ponder a bit, & I think the extra tine is a plus, keeps me steady & buisy there's a sort of rhythem to it that feels good
I am a mediocre shot, with the very rare flash of Great Stuff,
But the old Greener Hammer is first to hand

My 870 synthetic I bought for duck hunting, seems that I now shoot the pump better than any of my auto's or o/u, and I never even used a pmp before this one, kinda fun

Thats a tough question, especially for me. Since I hunt every day from Sept 1 thru Jan 31, I change guns a lot. Its clear which ones I dont shoot well, but I think my highest ratio of dead birds /rounds expended is with a Lefever "H". No beauty queen but effective. Close second, a Benelli Super Black Eagle...
