Daryl's H,B & P (we call it the circus gun) is a dandy and looks great in the sunshine, but it is easy to see the mahogany extension which helps the big guy to shoot it rather well. M&M, hope you enjoy the new book!

Anna Nicole. 8lbs, 32" IM/IM. A 1926 Fox I restocked as a dedicated clays gun. Only birds I hunt are grouse, and those with a 20ga Fox, so I have nothing to compare for a "best" hunting gun. But I've shot competitve clays for 15 years with a pair of Beretta 687's and been happy with the results. Decided I wanted to shoot registered competiton with a SxS and after 4 months I'm prepared to say I'm shooting better than ever.

T.& H.King boxlock. Thirty inch barrels chocked IC and M weight 8 1/4 lbs. I think the weight of the gun is what does it for me.

Baker Elite SBT. I only use it for Dove and my percentage is higher than any other gun I have used. Maybe, because I only have one chance.

SDH, ------------Well, it's "best" mahogany, and the duct tape on the butt of my Dickson to keep it from being so slick, is "best" duct tape.

My Army & Navy 16 ga for grouse, woodcock and quail. The 16 is a little too open for pheasant and my 12 ga Stensby works better for those. If I choose my shots carefully on pheasant then I would have to say the Army & Navy overall.

My Old Reliable is a 1951 vintage Gebr. Merkel 200E 12g. But much hunting here is mixed bag so I tend to take one of my drillings instead. - Jani

Have not narrowed it down yet. Either a K80, 391 or a 32" Broadway. All are 12's.
