Raimey I found your posts nothing but helpful and thanks again. I admire your ability to read proof marks - like reading Ancient Egyptian Hyroglyphs. The barrels have very little pitting so it makes sense to me that they have been honed some. Lord knows they were exposed to some pitting conditions. There is a stamp of .700" on the flats so I assumed that at one of the proofings that was the bore diameter. I really don't know where it quits being a 14 bore and starts being a 13 bore. I have seen the range for "modern" proof diameters but not for these "integer" bores.
