Yeah - well I have gone to a BB gun for BobWhites. Red Rider with Galco Slipon recoil/extension pad. I prefer the copper coated Daisy BBs but the Hevi-Shot performs well. The gun is light and easy to carry and the best part is that I can shoot eight or nine birds out of a covey rise. Try that with your breechloader! I plan on sending it to CrossedChisels and having him make me a custom stock out of Exhibition French Walnut.
