I've also taken to shooting a lot of upland with a 410. I've found that I get more personal enjoyment from shooting the smaller bores, regardless of how full my bag is. And that's what it's all about, IMO. So, my next 'large' purchase gun will likely be another .410. That's my story and I'm ssstickin to it. Yeah - well I have gone to a BB gun for BobWhites. Red Rider with Galco Slipon recoil/extension pad. I prefer the copper coated Daisy BBs but the Hevi-Shot performs well. The gun is light and easy to carry and the best part is that I can shoot eight or nine birds out of a covey rise. Try that with your breechloader! I plan on sending it to CrossedChisels and having him make me a custom stock out of Exhibition French Walnut. Best, Mike

I was going the full-auto BB-gun/scuba tank route but I looked like a gardener with a weed sprayer.
BTW, I hand checkered a custom walnut stock for a Red Ryder a few yrs back, no yoke.
