Ok here is my delemia and choices. What would you do and why? I can only afford to buy one of these. So I need to decide on which one.

CSMC Model 21-1 in 12ga 30" barrels with extra set of 16ga barrels, AAA Walnut upgrade on wood, B-carve at todays list price of $19,000.00

or

CSMC Fox CE 16ga 30" Krupps steel Barrels with extra set 20ga barrels at todays list price of $21,350.00

Either way they will be shooting and hunting guns. I look forward to hearing from you on your opinion.

This could be the start of a whole new conflagration...

I can make arguments either way. Both fit you well? How well do you shoot a 20 gauge? Wood any good on the Fox?

I would pick the Fox because I like the looks better and would find the combination more useful FOR MY PURPOSES.

Nice problem to have btw.

You are entitled to your opinion but that does not help me. Did you not read and understand the posting?

Sir:

I am sure the question is a pleasant diversion while you are over there dodging bullets for us, but there is no question in my mind. The small frame Fox wins hands down for an upland gun.

Marine,

Would this be in addition or instead of the "sporting" Model 21 you were considering in previous posts?

If you are dead set on one of those two....The Fox is the nicer of the two for upland hunting....

Can you back that up on why you feel that way? Honestly I think its a hard choice and its a choice I will be making in the very near future. I love both of these but can only afford one. They each have features I like and I already have a sxs in each gauge so they are not filling an empty spot.

16-gauge barrels on a 12-g frame make no sense. Not a smart choice.
