GregSY I have mixed feelings about all the Reproductions. But I think I see a wider swath of grey in between the black and the white than you do. A hand fitted hand engraved hand checkered gun with bone charcoal case hardening, carefully regulated, custom made by American craftsmen under license by Remington gets immense respect and admiration from me. I certainly don't have the credentials to declare it genuine or bogus. Tony purchased the trademarks and rights to the Fox guns. If a gunsmith needs part for a 21 he goes to Galazan. Seems pretty authentic to me.

Sticking a sideplate on a Turkish Boxlock and calling it an LC Smith doesn't strike me as being a reproduction. What Skeuse did with the Parkers is a Reproduction (a very good one) and it says it is a reproduction right on the gun.

I don't know what it has to do with anything but there was a year that you couldn't go into a Chevy dealership and purchase a new Corvette. They stopped making them for a year.

Best,

Mike
