I'm pretty sure I'll never buy either a new "LC Smith" made in wheretheheckistan or the new "Parker Bros" o/u. But, I do support the making of the PB o/u since it's a U.S. maker. Whatever name he uses, if it was legally acquired, I'm supportive. There are many examples of name usage in the gun world and other products. Winchester/Olin/whoever has it now, S&W/foreign investors, Colt/foriegn investors. It's a fact. I don't take any particular note of it, let alone any offense. The Douglas Aircraft company had it's identity diluted in the sixties and then lost it altogether in the ninties. Even though I worked for the company before it's last change, I don't have any sadness or anomosity. When the El Camino was discontinued, even though I'd had one for yrs, I didn't tear up. When the Camaro was discontinued, I didn't blink. It's business. Growth, reduction, acquisitions, etc. 'guess I'm not all that emotional about such stuff. Heck a perfume company was making H&H guns for a while.
