GregSY,
I have to agree with you on the over and under deal. As for the rich Parker owners. Thats what hard work and luck bring to you. Doesn't matter if its guns, cars, woman, houses. I have been so lucky to fall into this job I have now. It has given me the income level to be able to justify buying guns I use to dream of owning. If I play my cards right it will also give me the lifestyle I have always wanted too. I plan to fly fish, bird hunt, and shoot sporting clays tournaments full time. $49,000.00 is a lot of money for a gun but when you have that kind of money and you are not mortgaging the house to buy it then I am just envious. Though my choice wouldn't be a Parker at that price, I would be stepping up to a Holland and Holland, Purdey, or Boss. I know I know they are more then $49,000.00 but if you have $49,000.00 spend on a gun then I am sure you have the little extra to step up.
Here is my take on The Parker's being made by CSMC. Remington should sell the name and rights to Mr. Galazan. This would cut the cost of the guns and bring them a little closer to the CSMS model 21's and Fox. It cost for Mr. Galazan to make them, which means he has to profit on them, and Remington of course has to make their cut as well. So that puts Remington as the Middleman. Cut the Middleman and save money. Just my opinion.
