also, given the sloppy weld on the barrel end (evident in picture) and the value of this gun, would you have this worked on by a smith to put back into shootable condition and clean up the stock (hairline crack that would need repair) or just leave it a wallhanger as is? very interested in your opinions/thoughts. i have no sentimental value with this gun and am not super interested in shooting a blackpowder muzzleloading shotgun.
