That is some sort of crest for a czar in russia would that bring it up to say 85.00
Just kidding,its engraved with some flowers on the grip here is a picture of it.
The adjustable cheekpiece is really neat and works like it left the factory many years ago.Its lined with horn secured by brass screws, all alined of course,so as not to splinter.
The buttplate even has some gold work.
Pleased you like it,brought back by a GI from WWII and kept in a closet for many years.
