I was recently given a W.C. Scott shotgun and I was hoping that someone could help me better identify it.
It's labelled W.C. Scott on the sideplate. It's a hammer gun and muzzleloader.
Only other words that I can see on it are "London Fine Twist" on the top rib. It has some, but not alot of engraving ... some flourishes but no game scene. About Parker G grade checkering on wood (approximate amount of checkering). Plain metal butt.
And, I can't find a serial number anywhere ... nor a worn/sanded/filed spot where it might have been.
