I have tried everywhere on the internet and can find no record of him anywhere. The reason I am trying so hard is the gun is so beautiful I would like to find out more about the gunsmith. Anyone that could make a gun with this much engraving and inlaid silver must be listed somewhere. Many Thanks Ernie

He was active in Metz before 1918 (I have his Drilling from this period) and seemingly emigrated to Möhringen after the French reclaimed Metz in 1918/19. I could not find anything on him in published sources. A research of archive material in France and Germany would probably give some results but would take a lot of determination. - Jani

When I bought mine there was only two volumes, Vol I 1978, Vol II 1979. I don't know when volume III was published. MP Sadly Deceased as of 2/17/2014
