Picked up a new toy today. An L.C. Smith Specialty Grade with two sets of barrels and matching serial numbers. Most interesting is that it is a pigeon gun with no safety and English style stock. One set of tubes are FXF 32's and the other set MxF 28's. The 32's should be just the thing for box birds. An interesting set in and of itself, but I have never seen a L.C. serial number preceded by a "RE" which this one is on the action, guard, and both barrel flats. Anyone seen this sort of number before?
