Ernie: The Colt caliber .41 revolver is probably what they called the "THUNDERER" (the companion "LIGHTNING" being caliber .38) They are normally seen in price ranges between $500.00 (average) and $1,500.00 (fine) Both have a distinctive rounded butt (Billy the Kid used one) The L.C. Smith marked FULTON was manufactured by Hunter Arms Co., Fulton, N.Y. 1890-1950. Prior to that Smiths were made by W.H. Baker & Co. and L.C. Smith Maker in Syracuse, N.Y. and after 1950 were made by Marlin Firearms Co., New Haven CT. L.C. Smith Collectors Assn.
