By it's engraving it's a GR-2, made 1968-1976. I have the same gun in 16 Gauge. I know blue book does not list a 16 gauge made in a model GR-2 (extractors +double trigger, or 3 (single trigger+extractors) or 4 (ejectors), but I do have one. Also the workers tended to get a little lazy on their date codes, as mine is marked XX7 instead of XXVII for 1971. My serial number is 3054
It was the last of the Beretta SxS's to feature the Cross bolt or third bite. The next series, the 424-426 introduced in 1977, did not have this feature.
There is no model number marked on my gun anywhere , nor are there any importer marks. I also have sling swivels, splinter fore-end and a POW grip.
