OP Shotgun Rick Boxlock Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 1	I have a Francotte .12 ga side by side serial number >6198 with no date. It is marked on top on the rib with the following: 8420 A. Francotte Paris France B. Kitteredge & Co. Cin. Club Gun. There are also some manufacturer marks with AF and a crown in several places. Can anyone tell me when this gun may have been made or imported to the US, or any other data about this gun? I learned from the former owner today that the shotgun was made before 1940 because his father owned at least that long. I appreciate any info that the forum can provide on this gun.
