Well, that's quite possible.
As people age their physical characteristics change and often (almost always) alterations to gun stock have to be made.
I have examined fair number of those London-made SxS and couple of O/Us, and can't understand what you see in them.
To me they're are just like: Rolls Royce, Patek Philippe, or other things crafted for those who have everything. Let's face stark reality owning one isn't going to make you a better person, or turn you into king of england!
PS. In general folks who pay attention to what you shoot aren't worth a warm pitcher of spit, and I would not waste my time trying to hang around them.
