Ted Me neither, Ted. As suggested above, I think some people fool around with the ratings based on whether they agree with a poster's opinions, not on the value of the information he provides. If I were in the star-giving business, I'd give you 5 as the resident sliding breech guru.

Hi all, I could care less. I'm more interested in the opinions and knowledge I gain here, not the amount of "stars". Besides if COL Brown has 2 stars (I have two also) thats damn good company to be with.

I personally couldn't care less about star count. However I find it highly offensive someone can downgrade another person anonomously. Make those who want to cast rating barbs sign it for all to see or eliminate the system completely. The system is enabling a bunch of no guts individuals to play their tiny games. The individuals making the biggest contribution to the credibility of this board have all been marked down and the system is worse than meaningless now.

You are all stars in my book...
The little star thing is a built in rating system that is cute and statistically meaningless.
Yes, if you only post once...and someone else rates you a 5 star that's your rating...Honestly, it's much easier to go down than up.
So, if you get; or are a 5 star rated player enjoy it while it lasts...then when it goes down...just ignore it.
I figured you are all old enough to know better than to associate your value to "Star" ratings by the astrologists among us.
Please note...I only have 4 stars....certainly a mistake!
