Those pictures don't look like a 2 1/4" drop-at-heel to me. More like the catalogue listing of 2 3/4" or more.
By and large this gun looks a lot better then the Savage-era Fox-Sterlingworth 20-gauge over at Cabela's with a flaking stock finish for $2499

my 1914 philidelphia sterly has 3" d@h. why would they produce 2 1/4" on a non-special order gun? ..... mmmmmmm

A high conditioned, all original American field grade is worth it's weight in gold. A perfect Parker Vh, and AH Fox Sterlingworth is better than cash in the bank these days.

5-12 with 30" barrels? Better not push too hard on the sides of that stock! Not sure I'm buying the original case colors either...

That isn't even close to Fox colors ! look at the Fox collectors site to see correct colors.

That looks like the 16ga. SW that Ivory Beads had last November for 1895.00. Same amount of finish (real or wtherwise) and barrel length.
