I must have missed something, I see no connection between The Spice Girls and fine guns. If that was their farewell, I for one am glad they are GONE!

I'll try to scan in the picture of the 28 bore Purdey superimposed over the picture of Ginger wearing the Union Jack and post it and you'll see the connection, perhaps. It is off topic but I think that most of us on this BB are a bit off. BTW the gun and its "story" was the subject of an article in DGJ back in 2000, I think. I lent my copy to a "friend" and the issue is gone. Sorry for any offensive attempt at humor, sorry it is hard for me to think literally these days.

Of course there is a connection between Ginger Spice and the Purdey - they are both British, both nicely shaped and both probably knocked-up in an old alleyway in London. I expect they are both still good for the occasional bang even though they are getting on a bit now!

Dig, that is not gentlemanly conduct.Okay by me, but not gentlemanly.I coached Gerry's brother last year (or was it the year before?) anyway she came to pick him up, she was large with child, but what a super nice girl, not spice, but nice.Down to earth, nice lady.

Have our US cousins seen Mr. Ward's advertisement, with the model stacked to the fences? K.

Guys, I am sure Dig knows me well enough to realise I'm not getting crotchety, and having a go at him.Just being a Toff and a Proud Salopian. I do actually like those Ray Ward adverts. Are they a Round Action?
