Chuck H Sidelock Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 13,883 Likes: 19 Torrance, CA	My limited experience along with Dr. Gaddy's recommendation was that a 15 parts etch solution/ 85 parts water solution is what you want. Given the extremely short working time of the 15/85 solution, I'd even go weaker like 10/90 and get the dwell time in the solution up to something more reasonable like 15-30 seconds. CFWs Sidelock Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 178 Pennsylvania, USA	skitch, My tank is about 36" long by 4" wide. 1 quart of ferric chloride solution mixed with 1 1/2 gallons of water will cover a set of barrels easily in my tank.
