None of the RadioShed stores within the radius of their Comador64 store finder system ever have the stuff, but as already pointed out just call a computer/electronics hobby type place and they always seem to have it. They'll usualy respond to the spoken words 'circuit board etchant' or 'PCB etchant' instead of ferric chloride though. I did read one internet chemist describe making his own by dissolving a fist full of clean finishing nails in muriatic acid..outdoors of course..When the reaction stops and it cools down you have ferric chloride,, I guess(?) Sounds alot like making one of the older rust blue concoctions. Must be a connection in there somewhere! Muriatic is hydrochloric afterall. I'll buy mine as long as it's convenient..There's even a few purveyors on EBay that sell the stuff.
