The first source I cited, is an article in the December 1957 Edition of the Journal of the Arms & Armor Society and the article is entitled Pauly, Gun-Designer, by, W. Reid.

This is by far, the most authoratative work on Pauly and the most complete. My copy was given to me by the Arms & Armor Curator of the New York Metropolitan Museum. Most serious students of Arms & Armor consider this article to be the best source on Pauly, and I would have to agree.
