Was it a boxlock or sidelock?
If boxlock, it sounds like a model 40 which is the same as a LCS grade II.
If sidelock, it sounds like it could be a model 75EX which at one time was also called the model 208. No one currently imports the equivalent of this model, which may have been discontinued by Ugartechea.
I doubt if it is a 221, simply because all of the 221's I've encountered (not many,like 5 or 6) have been case colored and have border engraving with carved fences.
Did it have the name of the importer on it? That would help with the ID.
