Chuck H Sidelock Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 13,883 Likes: 19 Torrance, CA	It's the basis for the mild etchant to do the contrasting finishing of damascus barrels. You basically blue or brown the barrels, then remove the blue/brown from the steel portion of the iron/steel matrix.
