I just picked up a beautiful custom Mauser 98 in .338. It is done in classic British express style and is exceptionally well done. The rifle uses a commercial Mauser action and has all the bells and whistles. The only makers mark which I can find on it is a very small horse head with what appears to be an "F" inside it on top of the chamber. Due to the high comb, I am guessing it is American made. Anyone know a custom maker using such a mark?
