I'm sure they've (Simmons) changed hands at least once since they did a reblue on an L.C. Smith trap double for me in 1962. There wasn't a square edge left anywhere on the metal when I got it back. They had me return it to them to be repaired(?), but mysteriously, the barrels were crushed enroute to them. UPS picked up the tab for the value of the gun.
