I'm looking for another source and have Mr. Kokolus' name and was wondering about his services and the customer satisfaction.

I havent used his services but I have seen his products. From what I have seen of his wares, he does a very nice job doing duplications. The inletting was smooth, the exteriors were smooth, no tears, no rough cutting.

Chuck/Ken,
Dave Furman on this site used him recently for a Beretta O/U. The PM is unreliable on this site, but Dave frequents uplandjournal.com as "bosco mctavitch."

I tried to have him copy a few guns for me in the past but he has some guns he does not like to do. Tells you right up front. Now if things are busy we all can get a little picky about which jobs we take and that is his right. I would talk directly with him about any stock you want copied. Nice fellow to talk with.
As to price he was not cheap then and I suspect he still is not cheap. But cheap is often far less of a bargain than people think it is. I would rather have stock that saves me hours of tedious inletting and fitting than save a hundred dollars. My free time is still valuable and there is only so much of it. Why waste five or ten extra hours on a stock job if a little higher duplication cost saves you a lot of time?
