I figured I would start the thread about the RBL 28 and when is it going to be delivered. Better to pre-empt the doubters now. They called me in January and said they would deliver in Feb. I am confident but wouldnt be bothered if it was late. Good things come to those who wait!!!
Anyone get theirs yet???

I checked on mine by email Friday. Said they aren't manufacturing the 28s yet. Haven't finished the 20s. It will be March or April. I ordered on the second or third day.
I hope yours is in your hands soon.
Best,
Mike
I am glad to be here.

Recieved the call today, my 20 gauges will be shipped next week. ( Just missed the end of quail season) Ordered 8/8/06 PIF. Inquired about the 28 I ordered 11/1/2007 and was told still working on the 20's. The first 28 to be shipped sometime in April.Mearns quail season ended Monday and does not open again until mid November. I guess the wait will be a little easier.

battle, The Western Outdoor News, a sportsman newpaper in the southwest, also known as "the green liar" locally, said the extreme south east area of AZ had good hunting for Mearns. Hopefully, our AZ members will give us the straight skinny. Start another thread.

I'm glad you started this thread 'cause I was going to. I was in a shop in Northern CA this week (yes guns are still legal in the land where we let cities ban the marines) and a guy's 20 ga RBL had just arrived.... he ordered it in May 06...ug. This dashed all my hopes of seeing my 28ga in 2008.

I received shipping confirmation today for the RBL 20 I originally ordered PIF in December of 2005. It arrived here the first time in December of 2007, but had to go back for a minor correction. I have not assembled or shot it, and still have the CA 10 day wait to deal with when it finally does get here.

2005 orders arriving in 2008... That makes me glad I did not pay in advance for a $200 discount on my 28ga. I don't know what other peoples time value of money is but I think mine is better than that even in a crappy market. I hope I get my 28 by 2010 hunting season.

I talked to CSMC last night and, yes, they are still working on RBL Launch Edition guns. I have a PIF RBL-28 that I ordered on 11/7/08 in the works. There's no rush at this point. If I get my gun in April, that's fine. The weather should be just braking by then and I will have most of the spring and all of summer to play with it. In the meantime, I have plenty of guns (including 28ga.) to shoot. I'm buying a Zoli Extra Expedition 20ga. today...just what I need, another 20ga birdgun! My definition of the perfect gun deal is: "Getting rid of a gun you don't want for one you don't need". So, here we go again. My RBL-20 is still down in TX from last week's quail hunt. So the obvious solution is to buy another gun. The RBL functioned flawlessly by the way.

CSMC needs to hire a production forecasting expert. They obviously don't know how to do it themselves. I'm in no rush to get my gun; but it irks me that I was told first week of February twice and now I'm learning second hand that I shouldn't expect it for two more months.
