I have a couple of Sterlingworths. One patterns really well and the other is not nearly as tight. I measured them and the one that patterns well has a left bbl choke of .031. The one that does not pattern as tightly has an unbelievable constriction of .044. The bore on the last one is very large at .732, the muzzle was .688. Could some of you share your experience on this.
I am assuming that the extreme choke is blowing the patterns.
As both barrels fit on one of the frames I am contemplating making a two barrel set with the rt bbl 13, left 30 and the other bbl .005 & .020. The frame is being restocked to my dimensions.
