I shoot some pen raised pheasant and chuker occasionaly with a 28. I think that cyl and imp would be great but if you are undecided go with Skeet 1 and Skeet II. That is what I use in my 12 ga that I hunt blue quail with. Sometimes I wish that I had tighter chokes but the farther you shoot them the harder they are to find. It was however extremely effective on wild pheasants with 6s this year.
Besides imp cyl and modified mean a lot of different measurments to a lot of different people and gunmakers.
