Hello Bill Layman

Your reply makes sense to me. I have seen shotguns and pistols with worn chambers that were restored to shooting condition by boring the chambers and brazing or sweating inserts that brought the chambers back to size.

This gun was not in a worn condition. I had the gun refinished because of light scratches on the right side of the stock.

I can see where Briley comes out ahead by changing the chambers rather than building a tube set to fit a 1972 gun.

Since then, I have had a K32 bbl fitted with choke tubes that went back and for $75.00 the chokes were reamed out to close to the proper size. I am done with Briley.
