I'm not going to discuss felt recoil etc since it's all subjective at this point anyhow. I only recomend lengthening the forcing cones on 2.5" chambers as a way to get all the benefits of chamber lengthening without putting the gun out of proof. In addition, I'm don't recomend using 2.75" loads so you can shoot hotter rounds, but so that you can use more easily avaliable low pressure 2.75" amunition such as Winchester AA low recoil/noise and Xtralite loads without tearing up the hulls.
