Tim, although the Ithaca SKB 20's were 3", I think only the 12ga "magnum" variation was 3". You don't see many of those. The Model 100 Magnum had a BT forend and came with a factory recoil pad. Don't think I've ever seen a standard Model 100 12ga (splinter FE, factory buttplate) with 3" chambers.

It is relatively easy to repair a cracked ITHACA/SKB SxS stock with epoxy and small steel cross pins in a manner that barely shows. The stock is then glass-bedded to be stronger, and bear evenly. Done properly, the problem will not recur.

It is also a good idea to perform the same epoxy bedding on any "non-cracked SKB" -- to preclude any future problem. The area at the rear of the upper and lower tangs is key.
