Larry, I read the report also and in the same way you did but, The only thing I can think of for woodcock is it's a Migratory bird and in Mn you don't have to have steel for Woodcock at this time but it would be so easy to put them all together in the non-toxic bird... Saying" All laws apply in taking Migratory bids" They can use word like "With In" so many yards of a water way. I hope this doesn't happen also and I will continue to buy my lead shells. The Hunt Club already has gone to this (Steel) and the DNR boys are out checking the fields. Going to the Phez Fest today I will see if they have anything more on this!
