I have an L.C. Smith Trap Grade double that was ordered with BTFE, vent rib, ejectors, double triggers, and no safety. I have a friend who he wants to buy it, but I don't want to sell, so I told him I'd try to help him find one like it. So far, neither of has has seen a similarly equipped Smith for sale, or even one not for sale. Is this something that is going to be difficult to find, or was this a fairly common configuration? Thanks for your input. Bill

Uncommon, yes----- rare, no. That configuration was widely ordered as a live bird gun. As a matter of fact, a Pigeon with close to that configuration was just sold by Cabellas.
Keep looking, they show up on the auction sites occasionally.
