Hang on to that Super. Add a 20g BSS to your collection and you will be a happy camper.

Not to disagree with the well knowledged people on here, but I agree with Chuck H. (Not that he isn't well knowledged also) But I would keep the Super. When you say "collection" I am assuming that you can probably afford the BSS. Add one to you collection in a 20. They are sweet guns, too. But I really love my 20 gauge Super. It is such a nice little gun, too. I took Pete Hiatt's advice when I bought it and I wouldn't part with it. I also have a Miroku SXS and it is nice, too. So, you have other options. If you are attached to the Super, go out and look at the BSS before you sell it. All are nice guns, so take your time before deciding. Good luck with your decision.

I have had a 20 ga Superposed, solid rib, have a 12 ga BSS Grade II with 28" barrels and a 20 ga BSS Sidelock with 26" barrels. While the Super is a great gun, it was the only O/U I owned so I sold it to buy a Parker 16 ga VHE. Both of the BSS's I bought new in the mid 1980's. I had Pachmyer open the 12 ga to Mod/IC and it has been my Duck Gun for the last 23 years ago. It is a terrific Steel shot gun.
The 20 ga BSS Sidelock is a great upland game gun and I would highly recommend it today though they are pretty pricy. I didn't buy a 2O ga BSS Sporter at the time and often have wished I had one. Like a previous poster said, figure out your uses for the gun and what ever decision you make, they are all good guns.

Unless you have actually decided you don't like your superposed anymore, you should not trade one for the other. If you do you can't make a comparison for one thing and 2nd if you don't really like the BSS you won't have the superposed. I'd reccomend you get a BSS you think you like and find out which you don't really need anymore. Then the worse that will happen is that you will have two guns you might sell if the offer is right.
